Karmin, well known for covering Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj's songs on YouTube, have offered their first major-label original jam in a song called "Crash Your Party". The band's member Nick Noonan says, "We're trying not to be corny as much as possible."

True to the song's title, the track has potential to crash the party with its uplifting beat and singable hook. The duo sample Black Sheep's '90s rap classic track "The Choice Is Yours" and blends it with some sensible pop beat which results in a hybrid groovy sound.

"Who do you think you are, a super S-T-A-R?/ Who do you think you are, you can kiss my oh my gah," Amy Heidemann sings. "All eyes on you tonight, so let's toast to you, you got so much to prove/ And you say, everyone's got a price, that's how you get your way if not there's hell to pay."

Karmin pulled in millions of views on YouTube by covering big stars' songs. They inked a deal with Epic Records through their cover of Breezy's "Look at Me Now", and are currently in studio to finish their debut album which is expected to arrive in early 2012.

Talking about their work, Nick once said, "The best way to classify it is hip-pop, but we want to bring back some of the heavy lyrics." Amy added, "We want music that' gonna stick around."
