Mike Myers can officially add father to his resume. The star of "Shrek" film series and his wife Kelly Tisdale have welcomed their first child together. A representative for the actor confirmed that the baby boy the couple named Spike is "healthy", adding "his parents are ecstatic."
The rep didn't divulge further details on when and where the 48-year-old actor's first son was born. A source, however, spilled that the baby boy arrived into the world in mid-September. To Life & Style magazine, the source shared, "The baby is named Spike and was born two weeks ago!"
News that the "Austin Powers" star and his wife were expecting their first child was made public in May, less than two months after it was finally found out that the couple have secretly tied the knot in the fall of 2010. It was reported at the time that Kelly was already in her second trimester.
