AceShowbiz - Matt Damon has been spotted while working on the Vancouver set of "Elysium". Looking painful, he donned a bloody shirt and wore strange equipment, which is attached to his chest, hands and legs, during the production on Monday, August 8.
For the role in this Neill Blomkamp-directed movie, the Jason Bourne of "Bourne" trilogy has shaved his head clean. Details of his character are scarce, but it has been known that the movie is set 150 years in the future and has the social allegory elements ala "District 9".
Beside Damon, other stars who have signed up for the sci-fi film are Sharlto Copley, Jodie Foster, Alice Braga and Diego Luna. Containing "many socio-political ideas", it is slated for March 1, 2013 release in the United States.
