'Captain America: The First Avenger' New Clip: Fighting in Ring of Fire
Movie

Using his strength and an indestructible shield as his weapons, Steve Rogers goes to the battlefield and takes down his enemies.

A week leading to the U.S. release of "Captain America: The First Avenger", several new clips from the Joe Johnston-directed film have been unleashed. One in particular features Chris Evans' Steve Rogers fighting off enemies in a ring of fire. Wearing his super soldier costume, he is armed with nothing more than just a shield but he has strength and skill like no other soldiers.

Another clip sees Steve getting an impressive score after throwing himself on a fake grenade to shield the others during a basic-training exercise. The other two feature the skinny recruit being transformed into a burly man in the lab, and Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter firing off her gun at him to test a "vibranium" shield he chose as his weapon.

"Captain America: The First Avenger" follows Steve, a bully victim, who volunteers to participate in an experimental program. Despite his not-so-impressive performances at the physical training, he passes the tests and is turned into a super soldier before joining forces with Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Peggy to defeat Red Skull. The movie will make its way out on July 22 Stateside.
