Representative has confirmed that for a second time in three years, the 'Californication' actor and his actress wife have decided to take time apart from one another.

AceShowbiz - David Duchovny and Tea Leoni have separated once again. Representative for the Hank Moody of "Californication" has confirmed on Tuesday, June 28 that the Hollywood couple, who have been married for about 14 years, have decided to take some time off in their relationship for a second time in three years.
TMZ was the first to break the news of David and Tea's second split. The gossip site further added the "X-Files" star and the "Ghost Town" actress have not yet decided whether or not they will file for divorce. Reason behind the pair's second separation hasn't been disclosed.
David and Lea got hitched in 1997. The two have two children together, 12-year-old Madelaine West and 9-year-old Kyd Miller. Shortly after David confirmed he had checked into rehab for sex addiction in 2008, they announced through their representative they have been separated for some time.
"In light of continuous speculation over the lives and marriage of Tea Leoni and David Duchovny, the couple has confirmed that they have in fact been separated for several months," representatives for the actors said in a joint statement. "The couple had hoped to keep this separation private for the sake of their children."
