The former star of 'Dexter' has said yes to boyfriend of four years Rich Orosco when he proposed to her in the backyard of their Los Angeles home on Sunday, June 26.

AceShowbiz - Julie Benz has just got engaged to boyfriend of four years Rich Orosco. While she is delighted by the engagement, her dog apparently doesn't share mutual feeling. The former "Dexter" star joked about it on Twitter as she posted a photo of the pet with a caption that read, "One boy who is not happy about the news of my engagement... He thought we were exclusive...."
The 39-year-old actress said yes to her marketing executive boyfriend on Sunday, June 26 when he got down to one knee in the backyard of their Los Angeles home, her representative confirmed. He presented her with a customized Kwiat cushion-cut diamond and platinum engagement ring, complete with a diamond frame and milgrain edge band.
About the proposal, Julie told PEOPLE, "It was absolutely perfect. The proposal was simple and beautiful." She further spilled that Rich then surprised her with a Mexican fiesta engagement party. It was attended by nearly 60 of their closest friends and family. She added, "What girl doesn't want to be serenaded by a Mariachi band surrounded by close friends and family?"
While no wedding date has yet been announced, this will be Julie's second marriage. The actress, who used to play Darla on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel", was previously married to actor John Kassir in 1998. They divorced in 2007.
