Skylar Grey has sent her buzz solo single "Dance Without You" to radio. Coming from production hands of Alex da Kid, the song has some dark, cinematic vibes with drum-smacking sound. In the chorus, she's yearning to be free, "I want to dance without you/ for once just let me lose myself."

The song is set to be made available for free download as a pre-cursor to Skylar's upcoming solo studio album tentatively titled "Invincible", which is due later this fall, and as a thank-you for her fans' support. It will soon be followed by the release of her official first single.

"I wanted to release 'Dance Without You' as a free download because everyone has been so patient waiting for my solo material," she said of the free offering. "It is just a little teaser before my official single comes out later this month, and a taste of what's on my album."
