Hayden Panettiere could be rebounding from her break-up with Wladimir Klitschko with another athlete. The "Scream 4" actress sent tongue wagging after she was photographed together with New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez outside an In-N-Out Burger in Laguna Hills, California on Memorial Day (May 30).
RumorFix, which first reported the outing, claimed that Hayden and Mark went to the hamburger joint with another couple. Of the two, an eyewitness said, "They seemed very close and very happy." The 24-year-old footballer reportedly paid for the ordered food. A source close to the 21-year-old actress, however, insisted, "They are just friends."
Hayden and Mark reportedly first met each other at a star-studded pre-Oscars bash at Hollywood's Chateau Marmont on February 25. It was said that the former "Heroes" actress and the football star chatted up privately for about a half-hour. One partygoer told Us Weekly at the time that "the flirting was mutual."
Hayden recently split from her boyfriend for two years, Wladimir. The former girlfriend of Milo Ventimiglia told People Magazine about the break-up, "Even though we've decided splitting up is best for both of us, we have an amazing amount of love and respect for each other and remain very close friends."
