"Too Big to Fail" is an intimate look at the epochal Wall Street financial crisis of 2008. Based on the bestselling book by Andrew Ross Sorkin, the story is lifted as an original HBO movie which first trailer boasts the star-studded cast.
Paul Giamatti is joined by, among others, Topher Grace, Billy Crudup, James Woods, William Hurt, Cynthia Nixon, Michael O'Keefe, Tony Shalhoub and Bill Pullman. But the central character is Hurt's Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson.
The movie explores the inner sanctum of the powerful men and women who decided the fate of the world's economy in a matter of a few weeks. The film goes behind closed doors to examine the symbiotic relationship between Wall Street and Washington.
HBO is to air the film for the first time on Monday, May 23 at 9 P.M. ET/PT.
