Black Eyed Peas pumped up the crowd during the halftime show of Super Bowl XLV on Sunday night, February 6. Lowered from the ceiling on illuminated platforms, the Hip-Hop group opened it with "I Gotta Feeling" before proceeding with "Boom Boom Pow".

Later, surprise guest Slash appeared on stage to join forces with Stacy Ferguson. Instead of singing their own duet track "Beautiful Dangerous", the former member of Guns N' Roses and Fergie rocked the house with classic song "Sweet Child O' Mine".

The other guest was Usher who made a duet with will.i.am in "OMG". "I played 1mil people in brazil, the world cup for 1bil. And I'm so nervous for the superbowl. 'I feel like crying' this is so special for us," will.i.am tweeted that night.

Opened with live performances of Lea Michele and Christina Aguilera, the Super Bowl took place at Cowboys Stadium in North Texas and saw a battle between the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Packers won the game.
