The first look at Kristen Stewart in "On the Road" was obtained from a set picture in August 2010 and now new photos from the film have been released online. They give sneak peek to the "Twilight" starlet's acting in the upcoming movie as her character is seen dancing in one image.

Another picture has Stewart sitting next to Garrett Hedlund inside a car with Sam Riley on the back seat. The other one, a black and white shot, shows Riley walking on the set with some film crew.

In the drama adventure flick, Stewart portrays Marylou and shares some romantic scenes with Hedlund who takes the role of Dean Moriarty, a young and dangerously seductive ex-con. Meanwhile, Riley stars as Sal Paradise, an aspiring New York writer who, after the death of his father, meets Moriarty. The two hit it off immediately. Determined not to get trapped in a narrow life, the two friends burn their bridges and hit the road: thirsting for freedom, they discover the world, others and themselves.

"On the Road" is adapted from Jack Kerouac's legendary novel. Jose Rivera turns it into a script and Walter Salles serves as a helmer for the movie. No release date is set for the film which is produced by Francis Ford Coppola among others.
