Screen Gems and Lakeshore Entertainment have reportedly found the men to work behind the lens of "Underworld 4". According to The Hollywood Reporter, Swedish directing team Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein have signed up for the project.

Marlind and Stein were last working on "Shelter", a U.K. supernatural thriller starring Julianne Moore and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. The film, which has not been released Stateside, also marks the director duo's English-language debut.

"Underworld 4" will see Kate Beckinsale returning as vampire warrior Selene after skipping the third film, "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans". John Hlavin writes the script for the upcoming project before it is revised by J. Michael Straczynski. Production for the action horror movie is scheduled to start in March 2011 in Vancouver for a targeted January 20, 2012 release date in the U.S.
