More sneak peeks to "Machete" are given away before the film opens wide in U.S. theaters on September 3. Both videos have Danny Trejo's Machete as the highlighted character, with one of them showing him snap-shooting Robert De Niro's McLaughlin. The renegade, in the meantime, is featured seducing Michelle Rodriguez's Luz in the other clip.
Directed by Robert Rodriguez along with Ethan Maniquis, the film follows Mexican ex-Federal agent Machete with a gift for wielding a blade, who hides out as a day laborer and is double-crossed by a corrupt state senator. With the help of saucy taco slinger Luz, his "holy" brother Padre, and a socialite named April with a penchant for guns, Machete braves the odds while he is being tracked by Sartana, a sexy ICE agent with a special interest in the blade slinger.
Rounding up the all-star cast ensemble of the movie are Jessica Alba, Steven Seagal, Don Johnson and Lindsay Lohan. This action film is made based on the fake trailer in Rodriguez's "Grindhouse".
