San Diego Comic Con 2010 Saturday and Sunday Schedules: Selected Movie Panels

Highly-anticipated projects such as 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' and 'Thor' will fill the Saturday panels, while the last day of the convention is dedicated to kids.

AceShowbiz - The Saturday and Sunday line-ups for San Diego Comic Con 2010 programming have been released. Some big studios will present their upcoming big projects on July 24, while the organizers arrange the last day to be "Kids' Day".

Possibly getting the most attention on Saturday, July 24 will be Warner Bros. which is going to bring "Harry Potter" film franchise for the first time by presenting a sneak peek to the last installment, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", but the studio has confirmed that the cast won't attend the panel. As if it is not enough, the studio will also tease attendees with a look at "Green Lantern" and "Sucker Punch".

Other panels that will become spotlights that day are Marvel Studios' presentation for "Thor" and "Captain America : The First Avenger", and Screen Gems' panel for "Resident Evil: Afterlife". Moreover, Universal Pictures will use Hall H to introduce "Paul" and "Cowboys and Aliens".

Meanwhile, on Sunday, July 25, Comic Con will be more kid-friendly and present the 7th annual San Diego International Children's Film Festival. A horror movie "Red" starring Bruce Willis, however, will intercept in the afternoon as WildStorm Focus will hold a panel with artist Cully Hamner talking about the thriller.

This year's San Diego Comic Con will take place from Thursday, July 22 until Sunday, July 25. Complete schedule for the four-day convention including the one that for TV shows is available at Comic-Con.org.

11:45 A.M.-1:15 P.M.: Warner Bros.: Green Lantern, Sucker Punch, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Hall H) "Green Lantern" - Get a first look at the upcoming sci-fi action adventure "Green Lantern".

"Sucker Punch" - Features a sneak peek at the dark action fantasy "Sucker Punch".

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" - Presents a first look at the coming screen adaptation of J. K. Rowling's final book in the series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows".

1:30 P.M.-2:30 P.M.: Top Cow: "We Create" Multimedia (Room 9) - Be the first to hear announcements and updates on film projects including "The Witchblade", "Magdalena", "Alibi", "Wanted", and "A-Team", plus announcements on new comic projects with creators including Ron Marz, Jeff Katz, and Phil Hester, along with surprise guests including directors, screenwriters, producers, and more.

1:30 P.M.-2:30 P.M.: Overture: Let Me In (Hall H) - The cast and filmmakers of "Let Me In" give the Hall H audience a sneak peek at this highly anticipated film.

2:45 P.M.-3:45 P.M. : "The Return of Trailer Park" (Hall H) - The only time and place where you can see current and new 3D trailers all together at once.

4:00 P.M.-4:45 P.M.: Screen Gems: Resident Evil: Afterlife (Hall H) - Writer/director Paul W. S. Anderson, along with the film's stars Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, and Wentworth Miller, will be on hand to show you some stunning 3D sequences and answer your questions.

4:30 P.M.-5:30 P.M.: "Spotlight on J. Michael Straczynski" (Room 6A) - J. Michael Straczynski speaks about his work on such comics as "Superman" and "Wonder Woman", his movies, including "Shattered Union", "Forbidden Planet", and more he will be announcing here for the first time.

4:30 P.M.-5:30 P.M.: "Terry Moore" (Room 26AB) - Find out what's next for Terry Moore (from 1993 series "Echo") as he heads toward the "Echo" movie and the 20th anniversary of "Strangers in Paradise".

4:45 P.M.-5:45 P.M.: Universal: Paul and Cowboys and Aliens - (Hall H) "Paul" - Director Greg Mottola will be joined by cast members Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Jeffrey Tambor, Joe Lo Truglio, Seth Rogen, and Sigourney Weaver as they discuss the movie.

"Cowboys and Aliens" - Director Jon Favreau discusses what's happening behind the scenes of Universal Pictures and DreamWorks' action-thriller "Cowboys and Aliens".

6:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M.: Marvel Studios: Thor and Captain America : The First Avenger (Hall H) - Producer Kevin Feige and special guests give you an inside look at the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe.

7:15 P.M.-8:45 P.M.: Kevin Smith (Hall H) - Spend a quiet, refined evening with the one-and-only Kevin Smith.

8:30 P.M.-9:30 P.M.: World Premiere of The House That Drips Blood on Alex: "An Evening With Tommy Wiseau" (Room 7AB) - See the world premiere and join the cast and creators Tommy Wiseau, Brock LaBorde, Jared Richard, Yaque Silva-Doyle, Chris Trew, Joey Greco, and Justine Ezarik for a lively discussion.

10:00 P.M.-12:00 P.M.: Kevin Smith presents Cop Out in "Maximum Comedy Mode" (Indigo Ballroom, San Diego Hilton Bayfront) - Director Kevin Smith is on hand for the world premiere presentation of "Cop Out" in "Maximum Comedy Mode".

10:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M.: "Children's Film Festival" (Room 9) - The 7th annual San Diego International Children's Film Festival with more than 60 short films from around the world good for all ages. The complete program will be posted on Comic Con's official site soon.

12:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M.: "WildStorm Focus on RED: the Comic Book" (Room 4) - Artist Cully Hamner is up front-and-center to tell all about his exciting thriller "RED" which is made into movie with all-star cast led by Bruce Willis.

1:30 P.M.-2:30 P.M.: "The Winner Twins" (Room 8) - The Winner Twins, Brianna and Brittany (authors of "The Strand" book series), announce that their first book in the "Strand" series, "The Strand Prophecy", is now in development as a major motion picture. They will be discussing their method of writing novels and adapting content for television and film production in Hollywood .

2:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M.: "Keenspot 2010...in 3D!" (Room 4) - Pioneering webcomics publisher Keenspot returns with some creators such as Bobby Crosby, Sarah Ellerton, R.C. Monro, and Benny Powell scheduled to appear. Director Jay Weisman will also debut an exclusive 3D trailer of his upcoming shot-in-3D feature film "Shockwave Darkside".

2:15 P.M.-3:15 P.M.: "Scooby-Doo Screening and Q&A" (Room 6BCF) - Presenting a sneak peek at upcoming titles from this beloved family franchise. Actor Matthew Lillard, supervising producers Spike Brandt and Tony Cervone, producer Mitch Watson, and art director Dan Krall will unveil the trailer to Warner Home Video's upcoming original animated movie "Scooby-Doo!
