Another update about Bret Michaels' condition has been explained by his sister. Speaking on The Todd and N Tyler Radio Empire show on Monday morning, May 3, Michelle informs that she last spoke to her brother on Saturday, May 1 and he has shown positive progress.

"He's up and moving," she states as quoted by Radar Online. Michelle says Bret's speech is not slurred anymore and he tells her, "I just want to get out of here." Michelle then adds, "He's so happy that everybody is pulling for him."

Despite the good news, Michelle is still worried about Bret, saying "It is not going to surprise me if he is still in the ICU on Friday." She then explains, "I think they're having a problem really getting the bleed...I think there are some issues...that's why the back pain. What's happened is all that blood in his brain is starting to drain and he's starting to have a lot of back pain. It's been I can hear it in his voice, I know he's in a lot of pain."

But Michelle also believes that Bret will recover quickly because he is now treated in "one of the best neurological centers in America", St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. The medical center will hold a news conference on Tuesday, May 4, during which Bret's medical team will "further explain his condition, treatment and prognosis."

Bret Michaels was rushed to hospital on April 23 after having an excruciating headache on the night before. The former Poison frontman was then diagnosed with brain hemorrhage.
