Clark Gregg has been slated to join the cast for "Thor". According to Variety, the actor who plays Agent Coulson in "Iron Man" and forthcoming "Iron Man 2" will additionally reprise his role for the Kenneth Branagh-directed movie.

Coulson is an agent of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division (S.H.I.E.L.D). S.H.I.E.L.D director Nick Fury, who is played by Samuel L. Jackson, has also been set to make multiple appearances, one of which will be in "The Avengers".

Before widely known for his role in "Iron Man", Clark Gregg has had supporting roles in films such as "Lovely & Amazing", "In Good Company" and "The Human Stain".
