Paramount Pictures has released a new poster for "Iron Man 2". Debuted by Apple, the official one-sheet features the Iron Man's nemesis, Whiplash, who is portrayed by Mickey Rourke. Though the character has been introduced in previously released still, he is exposed in a scarier look in this new image.

Shortly after releasing out the poster, the studio also has given out a picture of what is called "an 'Iron Man 2' clue". An exclusive courtesy of Superhero Hype, this photo features a newspaper article which mentions Tony Stark and his alter ego Iron Man.

In another "Iron Man 2" news, IGN has confirmed that the first trailer for the film will come out along with the Christmas release of "Sherlock Holmes" and debut online at Apple. However, previously, there was rumor that New Zealand will get to see the trailer a week earlier than the U.S.

In the "Iron Man" sequel, Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow will return to reprise their roles as Tony Stark and Pepper Potts. Additionally, it has Scarlett Johansson starring as Black Widow, Don Cheadle playing Colonel James "Rhodey" Rhodes, and Samuel L. Jackson playing Nick Fury. Directed by Jon Favreau, this superhero film is set for a May 7, 2010 release date in the U.S.
