AceShowbiz - Amy Adams is about to become a mother. People magazine breaks the news that the movie beauty is pregnant with her first child. The father of the infant she is carrying is her actor fiance Darren Le Gallo.
Amy's representative has on Friday, December 4 confirmed the pregnancy story to E! News. No other details, including the baby's sex and due date, are being released just yet.
Amy Adams and Darren Le Gallo first met in acting class in 2001. She publicly announced their engagement last July. Darren reportedly presented Amy with a diamond ring by Jean Dousset of Beverly Hills when he proposed to her.
In an interview with Allure magazine earlier this year, Amy said she was in no rush to wed Darren. "We haven't even started with the date. I've been really busy, and I feel like a horrible fiancee that I haven't gotten swept up in the whole idea of a wedding. But I haven't," she revealed.
Amy then added, "I think he was patient for the first nine months, but now that we have been engaged for a year, he's sort of, you know, 'This is going to happen, right?' He understands I'm busy, but he's ready. He's much more ready for kids and stuff than I am."
