'Cousins' music video witnesses Vampire Weekend going to the alleyway to perform the first single off their next year release 'Contra'.

Vampire Weekend have made public a music video in companion to their new single called "Cousins". The video which is directed by Garth Jennings captures the band's members invading and rocking an alleyway.
"Cousins" serves as the first single from Vampire Weekend's upcoming second studio album titled "Contra". A follow-up to their Gold-certified eponymous effort "Vampire Weekend", the record is aimed to arrive in U.S. market on January 12, 2010.
On their calendar meanwhile, this band are scheduled to make a live performance at 94.7 FM's "A December to Remember" which will take place on December 10 at Crystal Ballroom in Portland. The next day, they are set to entertain concertgoers at Live 105's "Not So Silent Night 2009" at Oracle Arena in Oakland.
