Peter Andre and Katie Price are no longer husband and wife in the eyes of the law. The singer, as reported by The Daily Mirror, is relieved that their divorce has been finalized. He has been spotted clutching legal papers that dissolved his more-than-three-year marriage to Katie.

"At last I'm free to love again," Mirror quoted him as telling his manager Claire Powell and brother Michael. "It's over. I've moved on. It's been hard but you guys have always been there for me. I've been hurt by this but I'm a stronger man now. I can cope with anything."

A friend of Peter testified, "He's a hotblooded man and the last few months have been difficult. But he's always wanted to do the right thing by Kate and the kids. And that meant not being on the market until things died down. Now that moment has finally come, expect some fireworks. Pete was always 100|percent| faithful during their marriage and even when the divorce was going through."

"You haven't seen Pete on the town legless and pulling people. He's been a model of restraint. He'll have a relaxing night in, looking after the kids. He might have a glass of scotch when the kids go to bed," added the friend.

There has been no comment from Katie or her camp regarding the finalization of her divorce to Peter. The pair, who got married in September 2005, publicly announced their separation in May this year. They are parents to two children; son Junior Savva Andrea and daughter Princess Tiaamii. Katie, meanwhile, has another son named Harvey Daniel with ex-lover, footballer Dwight Yorke.
