AceShowbiz - After being hit with rumor that both Jude Law and Robert De Niro had been cast, "Thor" sees another possible cast member in Dominic Cooper. Kyle Buchanan of Movieline pointed out the likelihood following an interview with the star of "Mamma Mia!" when he is promoting "An Education".

Asked whether he has been approached for a role in the superhero movie, Cooper responded with "Ummm...yeah. Kind of." When pressed further if he will be playing Asgardian warrior Fandral the Dashing based on the script sides he was holding, the 31-year-old actor said, "You know! You're looking at these very confidential pages. It says 'confidential,' Kyle!"

Cooper casting possibility aside, the rumor about Jude Law and Robert De Niro's involvement in the hammer-wielding superhero project has been debunked by Geek Tyrant. The site insisted the story was a false information, claiming that Marvel has thrown in "a big fat NO" when asked about the matter.

As for the production start, the site suggested that it could be kicked off in late December or early January. "It looks like [director] Kenneth Branagh is going to start shooting Thor in about 8 to 10 weeks depending on how much the holidays slow down production," so it wrote.
