Nearly a month after its teaser trailer came out in bootleg format, "The Expendables" has got a promo trailer being outed. Around three minutes long, the newly-found sneak peek highlights mostly on the actions done by Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and Jet Li. Nonetheless, glimpses at other characters are also offered.
A hard-hitting action/thriller, "The Expendables" centers on a group of mercenaries hired to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator. Soon after their mission begins, the group led by Barney Ross realizes things aren't quite as they appear and finds themselves caught in a dangerous web of deceit and betrayal.
Directed and penned by its leading star Sylvester Stallone, the movie has Steve Austin, Dolph Lundgren, Brittany Murphy, Charisma Carpenter and Randy Couture among the star-studded cast ensemble. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis also take a part in this actioner which targets an August 20, 2010 U.S. release.
