This week on "The Amazing Race", the remaining teams embarked from a literally moving pit stop. The leg started from Vietnam's Mekong Delta, where all the contestants were inside a local boat and they were heading to a city called My Tho. Gary and Matt were first to depart and they were instructed to go to Ho Chi Minh City where they should find a puppet theater.

The teams quickly called a cab to reach the destination except for Lance and Keri who had an argument first whether or not they were already in Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival, teams had to grab a flag containing their next clue from the mouth of a dragon puppet bobbing on water. The clue directed them to a local post office.

In the Detour round, they had to choose between Child's Play or Word Play. In the former, teams must move an animal statue to a children's park while collecting balloons along the way. In the latter, they should head to a hotel's deck, find letters scattered around the place and get a local to arrange them into the word "Doc Lap". Most of them chose Child's Play except for Marcy and Ron who had trouble in finding the letters.

Finishing the Detour, teams were required to head to Dien Co 008 and performed a Roadblock. The chosen member's job was to disassemble two VCRs and organize the spare parts into two piles. Upon completing, teams were shown the leg's pit stop, The Reunification Palace. The Globetrotters had a foot race to the place against Meghan and Cheyne but they arrived first and won a trip to Aruba. Gary and Matt checked in third, followed by Brian and Ericka; Sam and Dan; Maria and Tiffany; Mika and Canaan; Zev and Justin; and Lance and Keri. Meanwhile, Marcy and Ron came in last and were eliminated.
