Music

Directed by Mr. Boomtown, the video shows how the rapper is banned from a club just because his white-T is not the dress code.

Slim Thug is releasing a music video for the single "Thug" which is taken from his March release. The video kicks off with a bell on the front door and Thug peering to see no one is there. Turns out after he opens the door, it's a young fan who is asking for an autograph from the rapper. The fan is rudely turned down.

"Thug" would be the third single lifted from the rapper's second studio album "Boss of All Bosses" which reached No. 15 on Billboard Hot 200. The previous two singles would be "I Run" and "Smile" which were both produced by Jim Jonsin.

"Boss" would be the record that he released under his own label after parting with Interscope/Star Trak Records. He quit the recording company earlier this year because of creative differences. "I sat down with the general manager," Thug told MTV earlier this year. "Really, I just sat down and told them, 'Y'all over here don't understand the type of music I do, and y'all hold me back while y'all trying to get your situation together'."
