"The bigger you get in the end, it's better to go small [dress-wise]," she said of her chosen outfit.

Speaking of her accessories, Lorraine Schwartz jewels that consisted of oversized dangling earrings and a huge cocktail ring, Heidi told reporters "I wanted something simple because I'm so big." She was also spotted sporting a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes. Meanwhile, Heidi's singer husband Seal who accompanied her to the star-studded awards gala suited up in Costume National.

Fellow pregnant celebrity, Kourtney Kardashian also took time to share words about her fashion choice. Wearing a strapless floor-length black BCBG gown, Christian Louboutin shoes, and Super Gems jewels, she admitted, "It's hard to get dressed when you're seven months pregnant almost!" before then adding "It's challenging, but I still try to be fashionable."

This year's Primetime Emmy Awards, which is the 61st, was kicked off at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 20. Actor Neil Patrick Harris lent his hand serving as the host.
