While there has been no official statement made just yet by Patrick Swayze's family on burial plans for the late actor, Radar Online has run an exclusive report on Tuesday, September 15 that his body "will be cremated within 48 hours." A source told the site, his ashes will then be spread across his ranch in New Mexico.

"Swayze loved the ranch and visited whenever he could," Radar Online wrote further. "Swayze turned his Rancho de Dias Alegres (Ranch of Happy Days) into a wildlife preserve and timber farm, he loved the rugged mountains and canyons of his ranch and the cowboy life he led there." Besides, it was said that Swayze often piloted his own plane to the venue, which he considered as his favorite place in the world.

No denial or verification has been made just yet by Swayze's camp regarding the report.

Patrick Swayze died of stage four pancreatic cancer on Monday, September 14. He was first diagnosed with the disease earlier last year. Confirming his death was his publicist Annett Wolf who said in a statement that the 57-year-old star "passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months." As of the press time, it is said that Swayze's body is in Los Angeles.
