Ed Westwick is no longer a Bass but Balt in the new promo shots of "Californication" season 3. The "Gossip Girl" actor is guest starring in the Showtime series as a college student fascinated at vampire lit. He is photographed in one scene, lying on a hospital bed accompanied by sexy fellow student, played by Eva Amurri.

The rest of the photos released for the season show a number of guest stars coming to the new season. Kathleen Turner aka the over-the-top boss of Charlie, is seen in two shots, towering Charlie and shaking Hank's hand. Diane Farr aka Hank's T.A. at the university, Jill Robinson, is one of the dinner guests.

There are two shots of Peter Gallagher who is starring as Stacy Koons, the dean of university where Hank teaches. His daughter (played by Ellen Woglom) is friends with Hank's daughter, Rebecca. "Hank and Dean Stacy Koons have a marvelously, antagonistic, yet respectful occasional relationship," Gallagher spilled. In one of the pictures, Koons is seen with bruised nose. "We have an epic brawl at the end," Gallagher explained.

There's supposed to be another guest star but he is not featured in the pics. Rick Springfield is going to play himself, with a story line as a drug-addled star.

"Californication" premieres on Sunday, September 27.
