Following previous false report on Michael Jackson's burial plans, Joe Jackson has confirmed his late son will be laid to rest on August 29.

Michael Jackson will finally be laid to rest on Saturday, August 29, on what would have been the King of Pop's 51st birthday. The chosen date has officially been confirmed by his father Joe Jackson.
The older Jackson, furthermore, informs New York Daily News that the burial will be kicked off at 10 A.M. in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles. Still according to Joe, the family has planned the event to be private, but he can't say which family members would be present.
After laying his late son to rest, Joe is expected to return to Las Vegas to receive a celebrity star in Michael's honor at the Brenden Theatres, a cinema at the Palms that Michael and his children often visited.
Meanwhile, the official cause of Michael Jackson's death will not be revealed until the final autopsy report is released by the Los Angeles County coroner's office and the manslaughter investigation is completed.
