Selena Gomez has updated her Twitter with the announcement of her band's name. "I named my band The Scene because a lot of people are making fun of me calling me a 'wanna be scene' so I thought I would poke fun of that," she wrote.

Selena also reveals when "Falling Down", the lead single off her debut abum "Kiss and Tell", will be sent to radio. "My single 'Falling Down' will premiere on Radio Disney August 21st!!" the Alex Russo depicter in "Wizards of Waverly Place" shared.

On what the song deals with, Selena previously said, "It's basically about Hollywood and what people think about it; and essentially how plastic it is sometimes. It's fun and I think girls can relate to it somewhat; for me it was because of Hollywood but it can really relate to a mean girl, an ex-boyfriend, to whoever."

In order to support the new track, Selena has started filming the song's music video which will also be used as a platform to introduce The Scene. So far, there is no record regarding when the video will be debuted.

"Kiss and Tell" itself is scheduled to arrive in U.S. stores on September 29. "I want it to be fun, energetic, empowering but very good so with that said I did not write any of the songs but one on the record. It was one of the last songs I recorded and it is definitely one of my favorites. I'm still new and still figuring out where I want to be musically but I think this is a good start ... hopefully," Selena explained about her direction in the album.
