Roger Federer took it to his official site and Facebook page to announce the birth of his twin girls with wife Miroslava Vavrinec. In a post on his site dated Friday, July 24, the professional tennis player wrote, "Roger Federer and his wife Mirka, proudly announce the birth of twin daughters, Charlene Riva and Myla Rose, who were born Thursday night, July 23rd in Switzerland."
The post furthermore confirmed, "This is the greatest day of our lives. Mirka, Myla and Charlene are all healthy and doing very well." Though so, no other details have been made public about the newborn twins. They are Roger and Miroslava's first children.
Both Roger Federer and Miroslava Vavrinec are tennis players. They announced in March this year that they were expecting their first child. The pair walked down the aisle in his native Switzerland on date 11 the following month.
