Rumor has it, Emily Osment will bring out her debut album which will carry pop songs with 'an alternative-rock edge' on March 9, 2010.

AceShowbiz - Emily Osment's debut album will be released across United States on March 9, 2010, according to USA Today. The effort, which is yet to be titled, reportedly will be produced by Matt Squire (Taking Back Sunday, Boys Like Girls, Panic! At the Disco).

Explaining about the materials she is currently recording for the project, Emily confirms the songs are "definitely pop, but with an alternative-rock edge." She adds, "It's music you'll want to play in the car with the windows rolled down."

The Lilly Truscott of "Hannah Montana" is said to contribute behind songwriting desk for most of the songs in the upcoming album. She will collaborate with Tom Higgenson of the Plain White T's and Eve 6's members, Max Collins and Tony Fagenson. Furthermore, a new song "All the Way Up" is rumored to hit Radio Disney this August with an accompanying video, which features band Push Play, to be debuted later on.

Back in February this year, Emily premiered a music video for her single "The Hero in Me" which serves as a theme song for Disney Channel's original movie "Dadnapped".
