The doctors who perform an autopsy on Michael Jackson's body are not yet able to conclude the exact cause of his death, but they deny indication of any external trauma or foul play.

AceShowbiz - An autopsy performed to determine the exact cause of Michael Jackson's death has been completed in a matter of hours on Friday, June 26, but doctors who conducted it couldn't come to immediate conclusion just yet on what killed the superstar. Further tests, thus, are required, said Los Angeles County Coroner's spokesman Craig Harvey.

"The cause of death (determination) has been deferred, which means that the medical examiner has ordered additional testing such as toxicology and other studies," Craig told reporters outside the coroner's office. "Those tests we anticipate will take an additional four to six weeks."

Detailing on the outcome of the autopsy, Craig confirmed, "There was no indication of any external trauma or indication of foul play to the body of Mr. Jackson." However, Craig did say Michael had been taking "some prescription medications" before his death, but he could not confirm what those drugs were.

Michael's family has been informed of the autopsy results earlier. As of press time, it can be confirmed that Michael's body will be released to family members soon after they choose a mortuary for funeral arrangements.
