Celebrity couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt reportedly took their mics off and walked out of the jungle before regaining their spirits to compete.

AceShowbiz - On Monday, June 1, NBC will premiere the second season of "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!" but two contestants have shown some sign of weakness. Newlyweds Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt reportedly have walked out of the reality show twice although filming only began two days.

From model Janice Dickinson to former Illinois first lady Patti Blagojevich, the show put high profile personalities in Costa Rican jungle for a whole month without the privileges that they get as celebrities. Speidi apparently considered it too much too handle, taking off their mics twice before coming back for the sake of their charities.

An insider of the reality show informed OK! Magazine, that the couple first quit on Saturday morning but soon found their way back to the jungle at night. "They made it through the night, but then on Sunday morning they walked back over the bridge to exit the jungle and head home," the insider recalled. Once again, they came back in order to win for their charities. "We're only on the second day of shooting, so we hope this time they really stay," a production source was quoted.

There has been no reason cited as to why they tried to quit.

Before heading to the jungle, Spencer Pratt said in an interview that he wanted to see wife Heidi Montag coming back to her roots. "You can't really understand who Heidi is unless you see where she grew up: 500 people, one street is the whole town, in the middle of the mountains. She can easily go from the mountains to the jungle," he gushed. About himself, Spencer commented, "Me, I'm afraid that's a different story. I've got four PDAs that are used 24/7, and I live and breathe my media empire, so I can't even imagine getting unplugged."

After the two-hour Monday premiere, "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!" will air 4 times a week, Monday to Thursday, at 8/7c. The final, where one celebrity is crowned the King or Queen of Jungle, will be aired on Wednesday, June 24. Viewers will pick by votes to determine who should be the last one standing.
