An unnamed representative of Jessica Simpson has confirmed that a new show is brewing although details are still scarce.

AceShowbiz - "Newlyweds" star Jessica Simpson is making a return to reality TV series after learning from the experience that media put her under scrutiny over weight gain. Reportedly titled "The Price of Beauty", the show follows her and a friend "on a road trip around the world in search of what people find beautiful and why."
In the show, Jessica goes to the length where she reveals "shocking things that women do to make themselves beautiful. Picture Fear Factor." The singer will be "hands-on" in the production and according to US Weekly, the show has been pitched to several TV networks.
While no confirming statement has been released about "The Price of Beauty", Jessica's rep told US, "Jessica is indeed working on a new show, but network details have not been finalized at this time."
Jessica Simpson first came under fire after she performed at the University of Virginia's John Paul Jones Arena in January with unflattering high-waist jeans. Few months later she told Vanity Fair magazine that she has learned to ignore media criticism, saying "I own that authentic part of myself, and none of those words are harsh enough to make me believe them."
