Speaking of his younger years during an interview with Look Magazine, movie heartthrob Robert Pattinson says that notwithstanding his nowadays heartthrob status, he used to be "the kind of gangly guy." Of that matter he explains, "I always looked like a girl up until a few years ago. And I never did any sport."

Robert previously opened up that he tends to think "sports are stupid," adding he isn't good at playing baseball despite the fact that there's a scene where he had to play baseball in "Twilight." He revealed, "Catherine Hardwicke was so determined to make me look like a professional baseball player she had this coach teach me this ready position, this little squat. I was like 'I'll do it on the last day of filming'. Catherine was like 'No, let me see it.'"

Sports aside, Robert Pattinson was seen arriving in Nice, France on Monday afternoon, May 18, to attend the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. He was photographed signing autograph for awaiting fans as he made his way out of the airport.

Coming next for him is a scheduled appearance at this year's MTV Movie Awards, which will be held on May 31. At the upcoming event, he is billed to present an exclusive clip of "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" alongside co-stars Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart.
