Eminem Returns to Film With 'Funny People'

'I just did a cameo a few months ago with Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen in a Judd Apatow produced film,' reveals Grammy-winning rapper Eminem of his appearance in 'Funny People'.

AceShowbiz - After years battling drug addiction, Eminem won't only be making a comeback in music industry through "Relapse" but also in the movie biz with "Funny People". The 36-year-old rapper fessed up in the new issue of VIBE magazine that he has recently filmed his cameo part for the Judd Apatow's upcoming comedy.

Of the matter, the rapper who won Academy Award for Best Original Song for "8 Mile" gushed, "I just did a cameo a few months ago with Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen in a Judd Apatow produced film. It's called Funny People." Elaborating more, he said, "I kinda do a little cameo in that which was fun by the way. And 8 Mile was not a fun movie to shoot."

While the nine time Grammy-winning rapper spilled on his participation in the comedy movie, he didn't give specific details on what kind of cameo appearance he was making. As for his future movie career, the Slim Shady gave positive response, saying "Will I end up doing another movie again? Probably yeah."

Telling the story of a comedian who has a near-death experience, "Funny People" is the latest comedy movie from Judd Apatow, the director of "The 40 Year-Old Virgin" and "Knocked Up". Pairing up Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen, it is supported also by Leslie Mann, Eric Bana, Jason Schwartzman and Jonah Hill. It is set to hit U.S. theaters on July 31.
