A brand new trailer and clip from the highly anticipated "Terminator Salvation" have been released. The trailer comes from Apple and lasts for about four minutes long, while the clip is from IGN and focuses on the scene where John Connor demands the Resistance to abort one of their attacks to save hostages, but gets stripped down of his command instead.

The extended trailer, which reels in lots of never-before-seen footage, begins with a shot of Marcus Wright standing on top of a hill overlooking the post apocalyptic Los Angeles. It moves on with Wright asking Kyle Reece what year they are in and what happen to the world. Then, fast-paced action snippets take over, previewing explosive battles, before presenting John Connor and his fights against the killing machines.

Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, "Terminator Salvation" follows a stranger whose past could not be justified, Marcus Wright, as he joins John Connor, the man whose fate is to lead the resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. Christian Bale and Sam Worthington take the two pivotal roles, Connor and Wright respectively.

Joining the two are Moon Bloodgood, Common, Anton Yelchin, Bryce Dallas Howard and Helena Bonham Carter among many others. This Warner Bros. film is slated for U.S. release on May 21.
