U2 take fans to Fez, Morocco, a city located in North Africa, in the music video for single 'Magnificent'.

AceShowbiz - U2 have put out a music video to promote their single called "Magnificent". Directed by Alex Courtez and shot in Fez, Morocco, it shows Bono and his bandmates performing the song inside a local riad in the North African city.

"Magnificent" itself is the second single coming from U2's 2009 studio album "No Line on the Horizon". Originally titled "French Disco", the song penned by the band's members themselves revolves around "two lovers holding on to each other and trying to turn their life into worship."

Recalling the days they cooked up the song, the band's guitarist Daniel Lanois said, "We wanted to have something euphoric and Bono came up with that little melody." He continued, "And he loved that melody, and stuck with it. Almost like a fanfare. And then I was involved in the lyrical process on that, because we wanted to talk about sacrifice that one makes for one's medium or one's art. I thought it had for a setting New York in the 50s."
