The 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' trailer was screened at this year's ShoWest convention, and it contains fresh footage, including the one when Dumbledore stated Draco has been chosen.

AceShowbiz - A new trailer of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" has been screened Tuesday, March 31, at 2009 ShoWest convention in Las Vegas and Cinema Blend has shared on what is shown during the trailer presentation. While the trailer description from the site hints that many of the footage may be similar to the previous one, it lets out that there will be additional footage to be seen.

Pointing out that the trailer focuses more on Draco Malfoy, Cinema Blend revealed there will be one particular scene which cannot be found in the book. In the trailer, Dumbledore will be heard saying, "Voldemort has chosen Draco Malfoy for a mission," whereas in the sixth J.K. Rowling's novel, it is told that Harry always suspected that Malfoy is working for the Dark Lord though couldn't prove it.

Other footage displayed include a shot of Inferi crawling out of the lake to attack Harry and the snippet of Harry shouting at Snape, demanding Snape to fight back when the Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher makes his way out from the Hogwarts castle. The trailer reportedly also contains a scene in which Katie Bell is attacked by the cursed necklace.

"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" is starred by Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Michael Gambon, Alan Rickman, Bonnie Wright, Helena Bonham Carter, Tom Felton and many others. Rated PG, it is directed by "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" helmer David Yates. Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute the movie in U.K. and U.S. simultaneously on July 17.
