MTV has got its hands on a pack of "Star Trek" trading cards, which uncovers a bunch of new pictures from the much awaited sci-fi film. Nine in all, some of the photos on the trading cards feature scenes and characters that have been outed previously, while some others give out never-before-seen images.

A shot of Zachary Quinto's Spock giving the "Live long and prosper" Vulcan salute to Leonard Nimoy's older Spock as the two stand against each other in a hangar is one of the photos shared through the trading cards. Other pics see an Orion slave girl laying on a bed wearing only lingerie, the Starfleet Academy in San Francisco, the ship known as "The Jellyfish", and an unidentified alien.

Chronicling the early days of James T. Kirk and his fellow USS Enterprise crew members during their time at Starfleet Academy, the eleventh "Star Trek" movie stars Chris Pine as Captain James T. Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Spock, Karl Urban as Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy, John Cho as Hikaru Sulu and many others. Directed by J.J. Abrams, it is set to be released in U.S. theaters on May 8.
