AceShowbiz - Official words on when and where a funeral for late actress Natasha Richardson will be held haven't been heard from her family just yet, but Radar Online claims a source has informed a private funeral is expected to be held in New York within the next three days. The source, however, doesn't disclose on the exact place where the funeral will be held.

Meanwhile, friends and acquaintances of Natasha, who was pronounced dead on Wednesday, March 18, have expressed their grief upon losing the late actress. "I'm shocked and deeply saddened by this," says Nick Moore who directed Natasha is her last big screen flick "Wild Child". "She was wonderfully generous and kind. A complete joy to be with." Nick furthermore praises Natasha as a "classy and special" person and remembers her as someone who always has willingness to help the children on the set. "All the kids in the movie loved being around her. She pitched in and was great with them. She lead by example," Nick recalls.

Sad reaction has also been outed by The Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR), which Natasha has actively supported when she was still alive. The international non-profit organization issues a statement, saying "Our hearts go out to her family. She generously contributed her time and resources to amfAR for over fifteen years. Natasha's passion for the cause and tireless efforts gave hope and inspiration to the scientists and healthcare workers on the front lines of this deadly epidemic, as well as to the millions of people living with HIV/AIDS around the world."

Natasha Richardson fell during a private skiing lesson on a beginners trail at the Mont Tremblant Resort in the Canadian province of Quebec on Monday, March 16. Complaining of a headache about an hour after her fall, she was taken to the Centre Hospitalier Laurentien in Ste-Agathe before then transferred to Hopital du Sacre-Coeur in Montreal. It was widely reported that Natasha was brain dead.

Her actor husband, Liam Neeson who was in Toronto shooting his film "Chloe", quickly rushed to her side. Held overnight at Hopital du Sacre-Coeur, she was discharged from the facility on Tuesday, March 17 and flown to N.Y.C. via private jet to be treated at Lenox Hill Hospital, where she was put under life support.

Fighting for her life, Natasha was pronounced dead on Wednesday, hours after being removed from life support. She is survived by husband Liam and their two sons; Micheal Richard Antonio and Daniel Jack.
