Bringing an interesting twist, 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' will present the host and her wife in an interview about marriage and baby bump.

Ellen DeGeneres will bring a special guest to her show on Monday, March 16, her own wife. Portia de Rossi has taped an episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Thursday, March 12 at the WB lot in Burbank, California and even had a rehearsal of the interview with Ellen prior to that.
"In a meeting talking about Portia's appearance on the show Monday I'm told I'll learn something about her that she's never told me," Ellen said, giving a preview about the episode. Among the things that they talk about is "married life", pregnancy and Portia's new TV show "Better Off Ted" which premieres on ABC Wednesday, March 18.
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married in August 2008 at their Hollywood Hills home, following California Supreme Court's rule that same sex couple have the "right to marry."
"Better Off Ted" is a satirical office comedy featuring a successful but morally conscious man, Ted, who runs a research and development department at a morally questionable corporation, Veridian Technologies. Portia plays the superhuman boss of Ted, Veronica whom he falls in love with.
