Old Faces Could Be Seen in 'Scream 4'

Offers for cameo appearances in horror thriller 'Scream 4' allegedly have been thrown out to Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette.

AceShowbiz -

While earlier reports suggested that "Scream 4" may be far from fruition, it seems that the next installment of the horror thriller franchise is still moving on. Bloody-Disgusting recently came up with a report, suggesting that several of the original main characters, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette, would make their returns.

However, since this feature project is intended to be a younger version of the "Scream" movies, those three will only make cameo appearances. Campbell, Cox and Arquette, who all have starred in the previous three "Scream" films as Sidney Prescott, Gale Weathers and Deputy Dwight Riley respectively, reportedly are in negotiation for the cameos. Nonetheless, there are yet words on the possible cameos from Dimension Films.

Apart from breaking out the potential cameos from the three original actors, Bloody-Disgusting also reported that Kevin Williamson, the writer of the first two "Scream" films, will start to write the draft for the fourth film. Additionally, the site also noted that there is a good chance that director Wes Craven may return to helm the proposed project.
