Dakota Culkin, the older sister of former child actor Macaulay Culkin, died after being hit by a car while she was walking in West Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - Dakota Culkin, the older sister of former child actor Macaulay Culkin, died Wednesday, December 10 after being hit by a car. She was 29 years old.
TMZ, which breaks the news, reports Dakota accidentally stepped off a curb and was struck while she was walking to an unmentioned destination in West Los Angeles on Tuesday, December 9. It was at that time that she was hit by a car.
Rushed to UCLA Medical Center, Dakota who recently worked as an art production assistant on the 2009 thriller "Lost Soul", lost her fight for life after suffering "massive head trauma." No record on the car that hit Dakota. In the meantime, Los Angeles Police Department is still investigating the accident and no arrest has been made.
A representative for Macaulay Culkin confirms Dakota Culkin's death, telling US Weekly, "We can officially confirm that the victim is Dakota Culkin. This is a terrible tragic accident. We have no further comment at this time."
