AceShowbiz - A publicist for Mark Ruffalo has confirmed the actor's brother, Scott Ruffalo, is fighting for his life after being shot in the head in Beverly Hills early Monday, December 1. No record on the name of the hospital where he is treated.
Scott, 39, was found in critical condition at his apartment with a gunshot wound to the head. Beverly Hills Police confirmed the incident, claiming it as "suspicious", reasoning that the events leading to the incident remained unclear. But they have not yet determined if the shooting is a crime or not.
Speaking about that matter, Beverly Hills Police Department spokesman Tony Lee explained, "Our detectives will not say if it was a shooting. All we can say is that we are investigating some suspicious circumstance that [occurred] early Monday morning." Investigation, in the meantime, is still undergoing.
Entertainment Tonight which broke the news on Wednesday, December 3 claimed "the Ruffalo family is being very supportive of each other during this family tragedy."
Scott Ruffalo, who is two years younger than Mark Ruffalo, is a hairdresser who has worked in salons in Santa Monica and Beverly Hills. He has held a California state cosmetology license since 1991. As for his personal life, Scott is married to Luzelena Ruffalo and has one stepdaughter named Lucinda.
