Madonna Splits 'Sticky and Sweet' Into Four Different Sets

Madonna brings out four different themes; pimp, old school, gypsy, and rave, in her upcoming 'Sticky and Sweet' world tour.

AceShowbiz - As posted on her official website, Madonna describes her upcoming "Sticky and Sweet" tour as "a rock driven dancatastic journey". The tour for "Hard Candy" promotional project, is broken into four main sections; pimp, old school, gypsy, and rave.

Pimp as her first appearance is inspired with 1920's deco as well as modern day gangsta pimp. Furthermore, in this stage the singer will make a grand appearance in Givenchy costume. Meanwhile, for old school theme, she will bring more 80's New York city dance roots and also include flashes of the time travel, showing the birth of rap. Her performance in "Gypsy" stage will take the audience to Romania by showing its folk music and dance while "Rave" is influenced with Eastern move with all sparky, and sporty stage display.

According to the written statement, the pop star will travel with a 250-strong troupe of crew members, dancers, musicians and assistants, 3,500 individual clothing items, 69 guitars and 16 caterers. The lady has also reportedly spent more than 1 million pounds on accessories of Swarovski crystals.

"Sticky and Sweet" is produced by Live Nation Global Touring. It is scheduled to kick off this Saturday on August 23 at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium and then move to London's Wembley Stadium on September 11. Tickets for the show can be bought on her official page
