Closer Look at Jason Voorhees in 'Friday the 13th'
Movie

A brand new and better-looking image of "Friday the 13th"'s notorious villain, Jason Voorhees, has been unearthed. This one, courtesy of Bloody-Disgusting, displays the hockey-masked slasher up close showing the baddie holding a bat high above his head ready to smash anything in front of him.

Previously, three photos from the upcoming classic horror remake unearthing for the first time Derek Mears as Voorhees have been leaked. But, as soon as the photos were outed, they were pulled out. One of the earliest images outed pictures of Voorhees standing at the edge of a lake where a girl is taking a dip.

A reboot of the Sean S. Cunningham's 1980 horror movie of the same name, "Friday the 13th" relives the horror faced by a group of councilors, played by Jared Padalecki and Amanda Righetti among others, who become target of the masked slasher when they are looking to reopen a camp for special need kids. Its script comes from Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, while the movie itself is set to release the scare in theaters on Friday, February 13, 2009.
