His lawsuit against her is still ongoing, but Ranae Shrider has proven to Verne Troyer that nothing could stop her from doing what she wants. The model is claimed to have sold her sex tape with the so-called "Mini Me" actor to a private collector for $5,000.

Shrider claims she sold the footage to a random man who approached her outside her house. "He just said, 'Here's some money,'" Shrider's manager, Holly Bannon, told the Los Angeles Times. "She just wanted to be rid of it, so she said OK." Bannon moreover said that the transaction was a simple "cash deal" and no legal paperwork was involved, adding that she assumed the buyer has given her client a false name.

Shrider's attorney Keith Davidson, in addition, insisted the sex video was bought for private viewing only. "She sold it to a private collector, so I think the suit is baseless," attorney Keith Davidson said.

Learning Shrider's claim that she has sold the tape, Troyer's lawyer, Edwin MCPherson, said he couldn't easily accept the story. "Some guy just pulled up to the curb and gave her five grand? Was it in a paper bag? I don't believe this," so he said.

Aside from the dispute between both parties, the sale has in fact prevented Troyer from copyrighting it as part of an effort to prevent its distribution. The $20 million lawsuit he brought against Shrider is still in effect anyway.
