Uma Thurman is one step closer to walk down the aisle for the third time. The actress is engaged to her financier boyfriend Arpad "Arki" Busson.
New York's Daily News was the first to report the engagement, quoted the star's representative Stephen Huvane as saying Friday, June 27, "I can confirm she is engaged." The ring Uma received from Busson to mark their engagement is an 8-plus carat center stone surrounded by 20 smaller stones, People reported.
"It's the most beautiful piece I've ever seen," a source told the publication of the diamond ring. "Arki did a wonderful job." Uma herself was seen sporting the gem Thursday night, June 26 at Elton John's British manor house, where he's throwing his 10th White Tie and Tiara benefit.
And while Stephen Huvane provided no further details about the couple's engagement, a friend of Uma's family has said that the star and Busson are "already planning the wedding."
Uma and Busson began dating summer last year and their love relationship has since then blossomed quickly.
Busson, who's a French/Swiss financier, has two sons with then girlfriend, famous supermodel Elle MacPherson. Uma, elsewhere, has two failed marriages, the first to actor Gary Oldman and the last to movie star Ethan Hawke.
