They have set the date but won't share it with the press. It was fortunate though that same-sex couple Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi finally have a change of mind and are kind enough to spill the beans on their wedding guests list and the gift they want for the big day.
Opened up about the people who're invited into her upcoming wedding, Ellen simply said "Lots of people." She went on adding, "It's getting bigger and bigger by the day. Would you like to come?" Portia then interrupted, telling Access Hollywood at the Daytime Emmys on Friday, June 20, "She keeps inviting people."
Didn't even reveal a single name, the pair confirmed that "Grey's Anatomy" star T. R. Knight definitely is invited to the nuptials. "I heard he invited himself so I guess we'll invite him," Ellen joked. "No, he was on [the list]." Portia added, "He's definitely invited."
Are feeling excited about their forthcoming wedding, both Ellen and Portia insisted they "don't need any gifts from anybody" though, insisted "We don't have a registry, we don't need anything. We've been blessed enough."
The couple do not want no gifts at all actually, as Ellen revealed that there is one gift she and Portia might be glad to get, a blanket bearing their faces in knit, which they saw at the Daytime Emmy red carpet. "Now that I see that there are blankets out there with our faces on it, we should collect them. So if anyone has a blanket with our faces, give it to us so that they're not out there anymore," so said the talk show host.
